[What the role is]
We are seeking a Flight Procedure Designer to support the development and implementation of instrument flight procedures within the Singapore Flight Information Region (FIR). This role involves applying engineering and analytical skills to design and review flight procedures that support safe and efficient aircraft operations.
[What you will be working on]
You will design and review instrument flight procedures in accordance to international aviation standards, conduct technical analyses to ensure safety and operational compliance, and supporting airspace design studies. The position requires collaboration with operational units and aviation stakeholders to implement procedure and airspace improvements, utilising specialised design tools and systems to develop and assess flight procedures effectively.
[What we are looking for]
Relevant training or qualifications in Engineering (e.g. aerospace, aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, or related disciplines).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in aviation operations and airspace management.
Prior experience in instrument flight procedure design or air traffic control would be advantageous but not mandatory.
No experience required as specialised training will be provided.
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
