Job Description:
Masterful Creation:Lead the daily production of our core menu of traditional sweets, including but not limited to: various types of mochi (daifuku), dango skewers (mitarashi, anko), and dorayaki.
Seasonal Innovation:Introduce a rotating menu of seasonal wagashi (e.g., sakura-mochi in spring, kuri-manjū in autumn) that reflects the Japanese aesthetic of celebrating nature's cycles.
Quality & Consistency:Maintain the highest standards of taste, texture, and appearance for every item, ensuring an authentic and consistent experience for our guests.
Kitchen Management:Uphold impeccable standards of hygiene and food safety in the pastry kitchen.
Requirements :
At least 1 year of experience as a Pastry Cook
Possess a genuine passion for and knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture.Prior experience making wagashi is a significant advantage.
Formal culinary training or a relevant pastry certification is a plus.
