Job Title: Sous Chef Pastry
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen
- Oversee daily pastry production, including preparation, baking, and presentation
- Create and execute pastry menus, desserts, and special occasion cakes
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Train and mentor pastry team members
- Collaborate with other kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen
- Formal pastry training (e.g., culinary school) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
