As our brand continues to grow, we are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Director to lead and strengthen our operational excellence across production, retail operations, customer experience, and business growth.
Job Summary
The Operations Director will oversee the overall operations of QUEIC Singapore, all its outlets, ensuring smooth daily execution across central kitchen production, retail outlets, logistics coordination, customer service, manpower planning, and operational profitability.
This role requires a hands-on leader with strong F&B operational experience, people management capability, and passion for building scalable systems while maintaining the quality and identity of the QUEIC brand.
- Oversee end-to-end operations including central kitchen, retail outlets, inventory, logistics, and daily workflow execution
- Ensure all outlets and production teams maintain consistent product quality, presentation, and service standards
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency, food safety, productivity, and operational consistency
- Monitor daily operational performance and resolve operational challenges proactively
- Uphold and strengthen the QUEIC customer experience across all touchpoints
- Ensure operational execution aligns with QUEIC brand values and premium positioning
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to support new launches, seasonal campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and manage outlet managers, kitchen supervisors, and operational teams
- Build a positive and performance-driven work culture
- Support recruitment, manpower planning, training, and staff development
- Improve staff retention and operational accountability
- Manage operational budgets, food cost control, wastage reduction, and labor productivity
- Drive operational profitability, revenue streams and identify areas for cost optimization
- Analyze sales and operational data to improve efficiency and business performance
- Ensure compliance with Singapore food hygiene, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain high cleanliness and food safety standards across all operations
- Conduct regular audits and operational reviews
- Support business expansion plans, outlet openings, and operational scalability
- Participate in strategic planning and process digitalization initiatives
- Identify opportunities for operational innovation and continuous improvement
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of operational management experience, including at least 3 years in senior leadership
- Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage complex operational processes
- Experience in process improvement, budgeting, and performance management
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Knowledge of Singapore employment and operational regulations is an advantage
