Job Description

Execute full set of purchasing process (Sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, shipping and follow up on deliveries.)

Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to procure workshop, machine tools and equipment.

Prepare Purchase Order to suppliers and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure all deliveries are in time to meet production schedule.

Active sourcing and cost comparison of overseas and local suppliers.

Maintaining purchasing-related documentation and working together with inventory controller to ensure inventory are well stocked.

Maintaining Approved Vendor List (AVL), making sure that vendor’s certificates and documentations are up to date.

Yearly review of all suppliers in the AVL, rating their performance and ensuring that they perform as per preset standards.

Managing suppliers to meet quality and delivery fulfilment objectives.

Responsible for documentation of purchasing activities (Vendor code set up, purchasing database maintenance, etc.)

Managing any daily local logistics to ensure critical purchases are delivered on time.

Liaise with logistics company for shipment arrangement, shipment status and custom declaration.

Generating Commercial Invoice and packing details for export shipments.

Co-ordination and planning with production team to manage client's on-time delivery expectations.

Monitoring and updating customer on the completion status of orders.

To handle any post-delivery matters pertaining to customer orders (with help from quality and production team).

To handle submission of Delivery Notice to customers' online portals.

To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the company.

Requirement

ONLY FOR SINGAPOREAN

Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration

2 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in oil field industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially on Excel and Word.

Some previous knowledge in ERP systems with respect to accounting modules. 

Efficient interpersonal communication skill, a team player and capable of working under minimal supervision.

Strong analytical skills, meticulous in their work and has an eye for minor details.

Required languages: English and Mandarin, as this position will require communication with our current People's Republic of China production workers.
