About the role

As the Mine Plan Engineer Supervisor at PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of the company's mining operations in Malili, South Sulawesi. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive mine plans to ensure efficient and sustainable mineral extraction.

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain detailed mine plans, including production schedules, equipment utilisation, and resource management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise mining operations and address operational challenges

Analyse geological and geotechnical data to inform mine planning and decision-making

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of mining activities

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior mine planning engineers to support their professional development

Ensure compliance with all relevant mining regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning and operations, preferably in the mining and resources industry

Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing mine plans that optimise productivity and safety

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong knowledge of mining software and tools, such as Mine Modeller, Vulcan, or GEOVIA Surpac

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
