About the role
PT Krakatau Posco is seeking a talented Steelmaking Technology Team (Contract) to join our dynamic team in Cilegon, Banten. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Steelmaking production activity across our manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
Prepare planning productivity to support optimization production strategy & efficiency
Evaluate the operation productivity to improve operation performance and efficiency
Conduct research of product and process development
Prepare planning & control quality product to ensure production process can meet the required quality
Perform varieties of task related with providing information and documentation of operation performance and improvement
Conduct research of product and process development by coordination with related unit to support on reviewing existing process technology and development of alternatives product
What we're looking for
Experience 3-5 years in Steel Industry, especially in Hot-Rolled Coil Product Manufacturing or Quality Engineer
Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor Material/Metallurgical Engineering
Familiar with Ms. Excel, word, PowerPoint, and Statistical Analysis Tools such as MINITAB, SPC, etc
Strong technical knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools
Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and quality standards
