The ideal candidate is a highly organized and commercially minded purchasing professional with experience in the maternal and baby FMCG industry. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage product categories, monitor market trends, and support the achievement of sales and procurement targets while ensuring product quality and cost efficiency. Responsibilities Responsible for purchasing FMCG products related to the maternal and baby industry, including food products, infant formula, baby complementary foods, nutritional supplements, wet wipes, diapers, tissue products, and related categories. Develop procurement strategies based on market demand and the company’s business direction, while optimizing product structure and category management. Handle supplier negotiations, including annual contract negotiations and onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring product quality and effective cost control. Organize annual marketing plans and collaborate with related departments to ensure the smooth execution of marketing activities. Take ownership of sales targets, ensure achievement of the company’s sales and purchasing goals, and provide effective execution strategies and action plans. Monitor market trends and adjust procurement plans in a timely manner to ensure healthy inventory levels and smooth supply chain operations. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the maternal and baby industry, with strong knowledge of maternal and baby product categories and the ability to work independently. Experience in FMCG purchasing for supermarkets (such as AEON) and convenience store (leading chains), with a good understanding of the specific needs of the maternal and baby industry. Extensive experience in supplier negotiations, including annual contract negotiations and onboarding negotiations with new suppliers. Experience in category management and marketing strategy, with the ability to organize and execute annual marketing plans to improve sales performance. Strong sales target orientation, capable of achieving assigned targets and developing clear execution plans and strategies.
