📌 Role Summary
A Field Engineer is responsible for managing on-site technical operations, ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engineering systems. This role bridges the gap between design and execution, often working directly with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient solutions
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Conduct site survey and feasibility studies
Install, commissioning, test (FCT/EMS/Sea trial), and maintain equipment and systems
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-time
Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards
Coordinate with project managers, Maritime Operational, and clients
Document project progress, technical reports, and system updates
Provide training and support to on-site personnel
Monitor project timelines and budget adherence
Supporting mechanical production if needed

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency on site and capable use diagnostic tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in dynamic environments
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory standards in vessel environment
Willingness to travel and adapt to field condition
Welding capability
Electrical Knowledge - Power distribution, grounding, overload protection, and marine-grade wiring.
Ability to design and interpret electrical schematics
Installation and calibration of flow meters, radar level sensors, RPM, fuel stick and Panel.
