Job Purpose
To support the company's growth strategy by engaging external stakeholders, identifying early-stage business opportunities, and coordinating internal interest and follow-ups. This role plays a key part in building networks and facilitating discussions.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of Manager, Business Development are as listed below.
- Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. government agencies, industry partners, consultants) to identify upcoming business opportunities and stay informed of market developments.
- Monitor industry announcements and tender forecasts and coordinate internal updates to ensure early awareness of potential pursuits.
- Support initial opportunity assessment, including summarising client needs and alignment with internal capabilities.
- Coordinate internal interest-checks and prepare brief opportunity overviews for early management consideration.
- Act as secretariat for key management meetings, including agenda planning, minutetaking, and follow-up tracking.
- Perform any other duties to support operational and governance matters.
