Key Responsibilities:
Export & Import Operations:
Handle end-to-end shipping processes for air, sea (FCL/LCL), and courier exports and imports.
Prepare and verify all export-import documentation including:
Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Bill of Lading (B/L), COO, PEB/PIB (Export/Import Declarations), and other customs documents.
Ensure timely submission of PEB/PIB via INSW system (Indonesia National Single Window).
Coordinate shipment booking, loading schedules, and container arrangements with local forwarders and trucking vendors.
Regulatory & Compliance:
Stay up to date with the latest Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan (Permendag), Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai, and other relevant EXIM regulations.
Monitor and process Lartas (Larangan dan Pembatasan) requirements, including licensing, surveyor reports (LS), or additional permits (SNI, BPOM, etc.).
Ensure proper HS Code classification and accurate tariff code usage in line with Indonesian regulations and international standards.
Comply with INATRADE licensing and reporting for regulated products.
Coordination & Communication:
Serve as a liaison between internal departments (Sales, Procurement, Finance) and external partners (Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Government Agencies).
Track all shipments and maintain regular status updates with stakeholders.
Resolve shipping delays, clearance issues, or port-related obstacles in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Administration & Reporting:
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all shipment documents for audit and compliance purposes.
Generate reports on shipping costs, timelines, compliance status, and performance metrics.
Support audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in export-import operations in Indonesia (preferably based in Bali or handling Bali-origin shipments).
Solid understanding of Indonesian EXIM regulations, including PEB/PIB procedures, INSW, INATRADE, Lartas, Bea Cukai, and Kemendag compliance.
Familiarity with HS codes, Incoterms 2020, and international shipping practices.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), email correspondence, and logistics/trade software.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with customs clearance systems (e.g., CEISA, INSW, or third-party customs platforms).
Knowledge of import commodities from another country to Bali, Indonesia
Strong negotiation and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and responsibility.
