🌏 The Role

We are seeking a Junior Trader to join our APAC trading team in Singapore. The role will be employed through Mindful Wealth, an affiliated investment management company, and will work closely with Abraxas’ global trading operations.

Trading at Abraxas is driven by proprietary market-neutral strategies across digital asset markets, operating 24/7 across global venues.

As part of our global trading team, you will work side by side with experienced professionals and benefit from hands-on training and continuous learning designed to accelerate your development in a dynamic work setting.

While prior crypto experience or knowledge of a specific programming language is not required, familiarity with digital assets and a strong quantitative thinking are considered valuable.

💼 What you’ll do

• Work closely with Senior Traders to understand, refine, and implement trading strategies.
• Monitor positions and market conditions to manage risk and ensure alignment with defined risk parameters.
• Execute trades across multiple centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DeFi) crypto venues.
• Analyse trading performance and market data to identify areas for improvement and support strategy optimization.
• Collaborate with other departments (Trading, Research, Technology, Strategy) to share insights, enhance workflows, and improve trading outcomes.

🎯 Who we are looking for

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in trading, market-making, or risk-taking roles, ideally within a reputable bank, hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, asset manager, or digital assets company. Experience in digital assets is a strong plus.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and trading mechanics (crypto, derivatives, FX, fixed income, or equities).
• Strong ability to make quick, rational decisions under pressure in fast-moving markets.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, comfortable working with data, trading systems, and operational workflows.
• Intellectually curious, highly motivated, and eager to learn.
• Proactive, reliable, and professional, with strong ownership mentality.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
