Job description for IT & AI Operations Specialist at 1-Group
Primary Mission
Keep 1-Group running with minimal downtime — especially during service hours — and help build the AI and automation workflows that will scale our operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities — IT Operations
• Endpoint support for Windows and macOS
• Office 365 administration
• Network troubleshooting (L1/L2): WiFi, VPN, basic firewall
• POS and kitchen systems support: Agilysys, POS printers, POS terminals
• Printer, peripherals, and venue hardware support
• IT asset management: laptops, mobile devices, POS terminals, printers
• Vendor management: Internet Service Providers, Nucleo, Agilysys, hardware suppliers
• Build and maintain an internal IT knowledge base so processes don’t sit in one person’s head
Core Responsibilities — AI Operations
You’ll work alongside our AI team to build workflows:
• Write and edit basic scripts (Python and/or PowerShell) to connect tools and automate tasks
• Run and monitor GitHub workflows
• Prepare datasets and test prompts
• Document AI processes and SOPs
Job Requirements:
• 2–4 years IT support experience, ideally in F&B, retail, or multi-site environments
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and basic networking
• Comfortable with cloud admin portals (M365, Google Workspace)
• Basic scripting ability (Python or PowerShell) — enough to read, edit, and write small automations
• Familiarity with GitHub
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff (Restaurant Managers, floor team) under service-hour pressure
• Strong documentation habits
• Calm under pressure
• Self-directed — comfortable being the only IT person on the team for now
• Willing to travel to venues across Singapore (own transport a plus)
Work hours:
• Standard office hours with occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical incidents during restaurant service. Time-off-in-lieu provided.
