Job Description
YMCA Internship Programme - Human Resources (HR) Intern
What You Will Learn
During this internship, you will gain exposure to:
Recruitment and talent sourcing processes.
HR onboarding and employee lifecycle management
HR administration and HRIS record management
Employee engagement and internal HR initiatives
HR data tracking and reporting
Workplace HR practices and policies in Singapore
Responsibilities
Assist the HR team in posting job advertisements and screening resumes.
Support coordination of interviews and communication with candidates.
Assist with onboarding preparation for new hires (e.g., onboarding documents, orientation logistics).
Help maintain HR records and update employee information in HR systems.
Support the preparation of HR reports and simple manpower data tracking.
Assist in organising HR initiatives such as staff engagement activities, HR events, or internal programmes.
Provide administrative support such as document filing, template updates, and record management.
Participate in HR projects or improvement initiatives led by the HR team.
Perform other HR-related tasks assigned to support the team.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized, responsible, and willing to learn.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
