We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Executive on a 6-month contract to support our HR team, with a primary focus on recruitment and payroll administration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing end-to-end HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Be our brand ambassador by managing full-cycle recruitment (including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management and onboarding)
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments
Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure accurate documentation
Support employer branding and job advertisement initiatives, includes offsite recruitment drive (campus recruitment, career fair and store walk-in interviews)
Support end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments
Maintain and update employee payroll records (e.g., salary changes, employee movements, allowances, deductions)
Verify timesheets, attendance, and leave records prior to payroll processing
Liaise with payroll vendors or internal finance teams where applicable
Preparation of payroll-related reports, staff cost analysis reports on a timely basis
Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
Prepare HR reports (e.g., headcount, recruitment status, payroll summaries)
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
Provide general HR administrative support as required
Support HR initiatives (events/process and policies revamp) as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2–4 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to recruitment and payroll
Strong knowledge of HR processes and local labor regulations
Experience using HRIS or payroll systems (HR Forte) is an advantage
Experience with payroll migration initiative would be highly advantageous
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about creating positive candidate and employee experiences
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
