Job description for HR & Admin Executive at BNL Group
What You'll Do
People Operations & Compliance
Own end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding, performance cycles, and off-boarding, with a focus on building scalable, digital-first processes
Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records on our HRMS (QuickHR), and continuously improve how we use the system to reduce manual work
Ensure compliance with Singapore employment law, MOM regulations, and Foreign Work Pass requirements; flag risks proactively rather than reactively
Prepare and submit government grant applications and track outcomes
Talent Acquisition
Design and execute recruitment strategies that attract quality candidates in a competitive labour market — including employer branding, job content, and channel selection
Manage the full hiring process from job brief to offer, with structured interviewing and a candidate experience that reflects BNL's values
Partner with hiring managers to reduce time-to-hire without compromising quality
Culture, Policies & People Development
Support managers in handling employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary processes with fairness and good judgment
Develop and maintain HR policies that are clear, compliant
Contribute to workforce development and training initiatives aligned with our Tripartite Standards and Progressive Wages commitments
Support sustainability and ESG reporting where it intersects with workforce metrics (GreenGov SG, sustainability reports)
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
4–5 years of hands-on HR experience; exposure to the environmental services, facilities management, or operations-heavy sectors is a strong advantage
IHRP certification preferred
Solid working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and Foreign Work Pass frameworks
Skills & Attributes
Digitally confident — you use HRMS platforms effectively and you're curious about how AI and automation tools can reduce HR admin burden
Data-oriented — you track what matters, spot patterns in people data, and can present a clear overview to leadership
Strong communicator — equally effective writing a policy document, running an interview, or coaching a manager through a difficult conversation
Proactive and operationally sharp — you close loops, you follow through, and things don't fall through the cracks on your watch
Comfortable in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment where not everything is figured out yet
Tools
Proficient in MS Office (Excel at an intermediate-advanced level is expected)
Experience with QuickHR (payroll and e-leave) is a meaningful advantage
Familiarity with digital recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
