Job Summary
Entrepreneur Resorts is looking for a Group General Manager for our Bali Resorts will be a dynamic and experienced leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of our portfolio of resorts in Bali. This role requires a visionary individual with a proven track record in luxury hospitality management, business development, and team leadership. The Group General Manager will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our business, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring our resorts consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability. The GGM will work closely with resort managers, corporate teams, and owners to achieve business objectives while preserving the unique identity and sustainability ethos of each resort.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Expansion
Develop and implement strategic plans for the long-term growth and profitability of the Entrepreneur Resorts portfolio.
Identify and evaluate potential new resort acquisitions, developments, and management contracts in Bali and the broader Southeast Asian market.
Lead due diligence processes for expansion projects, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
Cultivate relationships with landowners, developers, investors, and government bodies to facilitate business expansion.
Formulate and execute comprehensive business plans for new properties, including pre-opening, operational setup, and market penetration strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to proactively adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Drive innovation in product and service offerings to maintain a competitive edge and enhance brand appeal.
Operational Excellence
Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping, sales & marketing, finance, human resources, and engineering.
Ensure the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards across all properties.
Implement robust quality control systems and conduct regular operational audits to identify areas for improvement.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement and high-quality services.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
Will have to take care of other resorts based out of Tao and willing to travel whenever required.
Financial Management
Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and capital expenditure plans for the group.
Monitor financial performance against targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Optimize revenue generation through effective pricing strategies, sales initiatives, and cost control measures.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction without compromising service quality.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and performance analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
Sales, Marketing & Brand Management
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue.
Build strong relationships with key travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and MICE organizers.
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media presence, and online travel agency (OTA) partnerships.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.
Analyze market demand and guest feedback to tailor offerings and improve guest loyalty.
Human Resources & Talent Development
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of General Managers and departmental heads across the resorts.
Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention.
Oversee talent acquisition, training, performance management, and succession planning for key leadership roles.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and company HR policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality management, with at least 5 years in a multi-property or regional leadership role.
Extensive experience in the Bali hospitality market is highly preferred.
Proven track record in business development, including identifying, acquiring, and integrating new properties.
Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a significant advantage.
Ability to travel frequently within Bali and internationally as required.
