Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest requests are fulfilled.
- Process payments and manage guest accounts accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of room availability and hotel occupancy.
- Assist in reservations and managing room inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Provide personalized service to VIP and returning guests.
- Uphold the company's customer service standards and policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Hospitality or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a front desk role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation and property management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle various guest personalities.
- Problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Multilingual skills may be advantageous, depending on the location and guest demographics.
