Job description for Finance and Project Executive (SINGAPOREANS ONLY) at Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network

The Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) is a Singapore-based non-profit organization focused on the growth of hospice and palliative care services throughout the Asia Pacific. By bridging gaps in healthcare through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we empower palliative care professionals across the Asia Pacific. We are looking for a disciplined and mission-driven individual to ensure our financial and operational foundations remain as strong as our commitment to our community.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Compliance

Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure all financial reporting (monthly, CPF, quarterly, annual) is timely and compliant with statutory regulations.

Manage the annual external audit, liaising with auditors and accountants.

Develop financial forecasts, trend analysis, and manage expense payment procedures.

Project Leadership & Coordination

Lead and support organizational projects, collaborating with APHN partners and committees (e.g., Finance, Membership).

Drive the successful planning and execution of major events, including the biennial conference, webinars, and summits.

Serve as the main liaison for external partners and manage membership activities.

General Operations

Execute other duties as assigned by the Executive Director to ensure smooth Secretariat operations.

Job Requirements

Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory. Project Management certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience in Singapore, ideally maintaining a full set of accounts and familiar with non-profit/charity environments.

Skills: Strong grasp of full set of accounts, financial reporting, and Singapore compliance (CPF, Charities Accounting Standard). Meticulous, detail-oriented, and proficient with accounting software.

Personality: A proactive, disciplined, and resourceful team player with strong communication skills. Must demonstrate high integrity, cultural adaptability, and a commitment to APHN's mission.
