The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse for which they may have no words.
About the role
The Finance & Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Executive Director and provide finance, human resource and facility management support to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily financial operations, including managing accounts, liaising with outsourced bookkeeping company, and preparing financial reports.
· Manage budget preparation, financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
· Track donation received, issue tax deductible /non-tax-deductible receipts, and manage IRAS submission.
· Manage payroll processing, employee benefits, and compensation planning.
· Administer HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and training.
· Support employee engagement and ensure adherence to company policies and labour laws.
· Oversee facility management and ensure proper functioning of office infrastructure.
· Assist with general office duties and support Executive Director on administrative works.
· Perform other duties as required to support the team and organisation.
Job Requirement
· Diploma / Degree from an accredited institution
· Proven experience in both Finance and HR
· Excellent attention to details
· Proficient in MS Office, Excel and HRM software
· Ability to work independently, and as part of the team
