Company Overview: 

At Velocity Leasing, we are dedicated to transforming urban mobility by providing innovative and sustainable electric vehicle (EV) leasing solutions. 

 

Position Overview:

The Finance Administrator supports day-to-day financial collection and administrative activities to ensure smooth operational processes and timely recovery of outstanding payments. This role is responsible for monitoring overdue accounts, coordinating with customers on payment matters, resolving invoice-related queries, and maintaining accurate collection records while providing general office administration and ad-hoc operational support to the wider team.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Credit Control & Debt Collection

Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.

Follow up with customers via phone calls and emails to recover outstanding payments and secure payment commitments.

Maintain professional and positive relationships with customers while effectively negotiating payment arrangements.

Handle and resolve customer enquiries related to invoices, credit notes, and payment discrepancies.

Accurately update and maintain records of collection activities, customer communications, and payment commitments.

 

2. General Office Administration & Ad-Hoc Support

Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and maintaining digital records.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

Provide administrative and operational support to the team on ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Prior experience in finance administration, credit control, debt collection, or a related role is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in handling customer interactions and payment follow-ups professionally.

Good attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, resilient, and team-oriented individual with a positive “can-do” attitude.
