Job Summary
You will perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on electrical systems to detect early-stage faults and enhance asset reliability for clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical equipment to identify potential faults
- Conduct on-site measurements and collect technical data to support accurate condition assessments
- Analyze inspection data to detect abnormalities and provide practical technical observations to clients
- Prepare clear, professional inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Operate and maintain advanced inspection instruments and software to ensure reliable data collection
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and site requirements during inspections
- Maintain proper care and readiness of all inspection equipment to support operational efficiency
- Complete inspection assignments within project timelines to meet client expectations
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and inspection skills through training and hands-on experience
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or inspection
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and data handling
- Good communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel within Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in Infrared Thermography and/or Partial Discharge Testing
- Knowledge of low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical systems
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence
