Job Summary

You will deliver after-sales service, installation, commissioning, and repair of laboratory and analytical equipment. Provide technical consultation, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain high-quality preventive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver after-sales service support, including installation, commissioning, and repair of laboratory, research, and analytical equipment
  • Provide technical consultation to customers to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and implement corrective actions within targeted timelines
  • Prepare detailed service reports documenting maintenance and repair activities
  • Interpret technical drawings and troubleshooting charts to diagnose faults accurately
  • Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting down to the component level to restore equipment functionality
  • Apply expertise in analytical instruments and follow installation, preventive maintenance, and service procedures, especially for liquid handling systems
  • Quickly learn and assimilate new technologies to support evolving equipment needs
  • Execute quality repair and preventive maintenance services at customer sites to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Standby activation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience in service or maintenance within the scientific industry
  • Understanding of robotic liquid handling equipment
  • Valid Class 3 driving license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and coachable with a high level of troubleshooting aptitude
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-tasking environment and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with good business acumen
