Job description for Fashion Business Program Director at LaSalle College - Jakarta

LaSalle College Jakarta is looking for an experienced academic leader to serve as Program Director for our Fashion Business program. This role combines hands-on teaching with strategic program management, faculty development, and industry engagement — all aligned with LaSalle College International's global academic framework. Responsibilities Teach 12–15 credit hours per week; develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments Manage program scheduling, academic calendar, and course allocation (17–20 hours/week coordination) Monitor student retention, progression, and graduation rates; implement support for at-risk students Review and upgrade course outlines in alignment with LCI Education Head Office (Montreal) Collaborate with industry partners and advisory boards to keep curriculum current and relevant Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching faculty; conduct classroom observations and provide feedback Plan and facilitate faculty professional development activities Coordinate and oversee program-level research and development activities Represent the college in industry forums, academic conferences, and accreditation engagements Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, alumni, and professional organizations Support institutional promotion and marketing activities including open days and education fairs Prepare academic reports, program evaluations, and documentation within set deadlines Requirements Master's Degree in Fashion, Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Business or related creative field (Doctoral preferred) Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at tertiary level At least 2 years in a coordinative or academic leadership role Experience in the Fashion Business or broader creative industries Proven ability in curriculum development and academic quality assurance Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills NIDN (Nomor Induk Dosen Nasional) is preferred Work Arrangement Full-time, on-site position based at LaSalle College Jakarta. Reports to the Campus Director with a direct line to the Academic Director. The role involves regular collaboration with faculty, student services, admissions, and LCI Education
