Job Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong background in maintenance, specifically within a hotel or similar environment, are a proactive problem-solver, and have a good grasp of basic network and Wi-Fi systems, this is the perfect role for you. We value practical experience over a college degree.

This position is a key part of our operations, helping to ensure our dynamic coworking space and F&B areas are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will be a hands-on professional, addressing daily maintenance needs and working with our team to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Construction Support: Work with our construction team to help manage the final phases of our new building's development. You will help with the installation and setup of new equipment and furniture, ensuring everything is ready for a seamless opening.

Wi-Fi and Basic Network Support: Act as the first point of contact for routine Wi-Fi and internet connectivity issues across the property. This includes checking network equipment status, performing basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with the external IT service provider or ISP for resolution.

Daily Maintenance & Repairs: Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related issues, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC problems. You will be responsible for prompt repairs to ensure our staff and members are not inconvenienced.

Preventive Maintenance: Assist in developing and carrying out a preventive maintenance plan for all building systems and amenities, including our health and wellness facilities and also our F&B. You will also be responsible for the basic upkeep of our garden areas.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Work closely with external contractors and vendors, including specialized maintenance workers, to ensure all services are performed correctly and on time.

Inspections & Safety: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential issues, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and repair.

Administrative Tasks: Keep accurate records of maintenance requests and work orders, and track inventory for tools and supplies.

Collaboration: Work with different teams to make sure our space and equipment are ready for new members, events, or changes.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role, preferably in a hotel, coworking space, or a similar multi-use property. Experience in construction or building handovers is a strong plus.

Technical Skills: Solid understanding of general building maintenance, including basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

IT/Networking Skills: Basic ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi access points, network switches, and other common internet equipment. Experience in resolving simple connectivity problems is required.

Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with staff, members, and vendors, including local contractors.

Self-Motivation: A proactive and hands-on professional who can work independently and manage their time effectively.
