Job description for Event Management & Engagement Assistant Executive at SAFRA National Service Association

To assist in the planning, organization, and execution of National Defence / Total Defence related events to engage the community. This includes conceptualizing, managing, and tracking events.

Responsibilities:

1.     Event Management

Assist in organizing defence related events to engage the community

Achieve tracking of KPIs for National Defence / Total Defence related events, participation and engagement.

Close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Membership, Finance, IT and SAFRA clubs to cross leverage and market events.

Ensure all documentations for events are kept and recorded for audit trail.

Ensure close collaboration with community partners.

2.     Perform Secretariat role for NS Community Champions (Volunteer Program)

Prepare minutes and agenda for monthly meetings.

Engage and manage volunteers for events and related activities

3.     Assist in Marketing and Publicity

Creating content, marketing and engagement

Creation of campaigns publicity materials and collaterals design.

4. Supports Club Operation in performing Duty Officer role at least once a month (subjected to Clubhouse allocation)


Requirements:

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Events Management/Political Science/Business Administration/Management/ Marketing or equivalent.

Candidates with Degree in Political Science and prior experience in organizing events and activities is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in projects/events management and managing sponsorships / partnerships.

Creative and resourceful.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Results-oriented and a good team player.

Able to multi-task in a challenging environment.

A people’s person; experience in managing volunteer groups preferred.

Occasionally work on weekends and monthly evening meeting.
