About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and disciplined Engineer to provide first-level support and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and surveillance solutions. This role involves troubleshooting, system setup and installation, and supporting both project delivery and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for systems, databases, networks, and telecommunications infrastructure
Perform on-site assignments, including setup and installation of IP cameras, NVRs, video management systems, and analytics software
Install and configure Microsoft servers
Train and guide maintenance teams after project completion
Handle daily operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Coordinate client requests and ensure timely resolution of IT issues
Collaborate across teams and with external partners to maintain full IT system functionality
Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
Support ad-hoc service jobs and standby duties (24/7 during assigned periods)
Demonstrate strong self-discipline, motivation, attention to detail, and composure
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
Proficient in networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, firewall, VPN) and infrastructure troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with IP CCTV systems, NVR, Door access, and VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec, )
Solid end-to-end deployment skills for servers, surveillance systems, storage (NAS/SAN, RAID), and integrations
Excellent troubleshooting, client coordination, and team training/mentoring capabilities
At least 2 years of experience in field service or maintenance roles
Strong troubleshooting abilities with solid hands-on technical expertise
Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Able to work independently in on-site environments
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Willing and able to travel to customer locations
