Job description for Dispatch Engineer @ Jurong Port at Engro Corporation
- Supervise the day to day operation of the dispatch office.
- To ensure smooth operation of cement delivery.
- To analyze tanker/lorry crane fleet efficiency.
- Handle incoming calls, adjust work to indicate customer changes, rectify errors, document customer account records, and close work orders.
- Demonstrate expertise in all services, inspect site and other dispatch operation matters and be able to work on multiple systems simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with field technicians and contractors to identify issues.
- Supervise tanker drivers and dispatch coordinators on daily cement sales matter.
- To initiate corrective and preventive in the occurrence of product/delivery non conformity.
- To work with Laboratory to ensure quality level of all types of cement meets our company standard.
- To participate in the company ISO’s quality management system.
- To ensure all safety awareness in the cement tanker loading/delivery have been carried out.
- Prepare technical documentation and perform any other work as may assigned from time to time.
