The Urban Solutions and Sustainability (USS) team oversees the growth of Singapore companies in the Water & Circular Economy, Sustainable Energy and Cities Development space. Specifically, this officer will oversee the Sustainable Energy team.

[What you will be working on]

The DD is expected to lead and work closely with his/her team to:

Study, analyse and understand key trends in the low carbon economy, across different low-carbon areas such as Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen, Grid Management, Nuclear and Solar;

Develop and drive sector initiatives in low-carbon energy that will lead to the creation of good jobs and establish Singapore as a regional hub for sustainable energy solutions. This involves working closely with companies, trade associations, IHLs, investors, and government agencies amongst other stakeholders;

Support the growth of the process sector in areas as such manpower development;

Manage day-to-day operational work with the team, including company enquiries and grant processing.

Prior experience or exposure to energy, climate, or sustainability sectors is a plus
