Project Engineer ( 1 yr contract )

Jakarta, Indonesia

The Project Engineer will provide and develop system application as per project specifications and follow international industry codes & standards. He will assist the Project, Engineering & Proposal Team on all systems design and engineering work.

Preparing engineering documents revision to accommodate changes and enhancements.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Support the Project, Engineering & Proposal Team on all systems design and engineering work.
• Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
• Generate and maintain high quality and accurate engineering documents and timely completion to meet project delivery or tender document due date.
• Revise engineering documents to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Prepare schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
• Prepare shop drawing, material approval, work methode statement during project execution.
• Follow standard work flow procedure for engineering document establishment, issuance and approval.
• Work closely with Project Team to generate and perform technical evaluation for project items.
• Develop system application as per project specifications and follow international industry codes & standards.
• Perform internal testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Liaise, coordinate and monitor sub-contractors/vendors on assigned projects to ensure goods quality as per project specification and timely delivery.
• Assist in shipping arrangement of project items for project delivery.
• Execute other assigned activities when needed.

EDUCATION

• Preferably Qualification in Engineering.
• 3- 5 years related industry experience,
• Strong knowledge in technical data and documentation, such as drawings, technical manuals /specification and industrial code and standard
• Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels.
• Extensive working experience with HMI , Autocad
• Ability to master new software systems, especially in the areas of Project Management
• Preferable experience with portfolio of projects.
• Must be able to work as a team.

EXPERIENCE

• Highly proficient in all of the key areas of system applications.
• Knowledgeable about the generally accepted industry best practice in this area.
• Excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
• Ability to work and prosper in a flexible dynamic team environment.
• Time and resource management
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ownership of all facets and requirements of this role.
• Must demonstrate a continuous improvement focus.
