Job description for Customer Support Engineer/Specialist at Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific
The Customer Support Engineer/Specialist provides engineering support on matters related to installation of factory automation equipment, components and systems. He/She oversees the planning and execution of after-sales service support to customers and sales offices, and ensures adherence to cost, time, quality, and safety targets while maintaining compliance with external regulations and company standards. He/she provides technical support for query resolutions and troubleshooting equipment issues.
He/She possesses strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. He/she possesses planning and supervision skills. He/she is proactive and takes lead when resolving issues. He/she works on-site and is expected to travel frequently to customers' locations.
Requirements
Diploma with experience (at least 1 year) \ Degree in any engineering discipline
Able to travel overseas for work
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to support customers and overseas stakeholders
