What you'll be doing?
Drive Lean Initiatives: Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies, lead kaizen activities, and optimize operations to increase efficiency.
Collaborate and Align: Work closely with plant management to gain support, train personnel, and implement improvement initiatives across the organization.
Develop Competencies: Enhance your skills in lean tools and methodologies, while training and coaching team members in Lean/CI principles and practices.
Strategic Planning: Participate in value stream mapping, organize annual reviews, and contribute to defining lean strategies and budgets.
On-the-Ground Leadership: Coach team members through on-job training, lead workshops, and actively promote lean principles in daily operations.
Performance Tracking: Manage lean reporting, establish productivity scorecards, and share achievements with management to drive continuous improvement.
Who are they looking for?
Lean Manufacturing Expert: At least 2-3 years of experience applying Lean principles and tools in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of achieving significant results.
Excellent Communicator: Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience leading successful Kaizen events and delivering impactful results.
Change Agent: Ability to influence decision-making, build relationships, and drive positive change within a manufacturing organization.
Passionate Leader: Enthusiasm for driving improvement, with proven success in developing, training, and coaching teams to exceed goals.
Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions to complex challenges.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge and hands-on experience with lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, SMED, TPM, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, but equivalent manufacturing experience is also valued.
Other Information
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8:15am - 6pm
Location: Changi North
Salary: $4000 - $5200
