Job description for Community Engagement Strategist at Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants

As the Community Engagement Strategist, this role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic engagement and business development initiatives to  attract, develop and retain SCAQ candidates, student members, credential holders, and other stakeholders.   

Reporting directly to the Lead for Community Engagement, this role will deliver, implement and monitor strategic opportunities to increase engagements in SCAQ and Pathways Community with the support from Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs), Registered Learning Organisations (RLOs) and Young CA members.   


Job Responsibilities

Community Engagement 

Support candidates and student members through their journey to membership, including engagement, conversion, retention, and enrolment.  

Plan and organise engagement events and activities for different stakeholder groups, including but not limited to: 

SCAQ candidates 

Pathway and credential holders 

ATOs 

Educators and schools 

Student members 

Strategic Partners 

Support conversion and growth of the different pathways through planned activities and social media engagement. 

 Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs)  

Work with Outreach and ATOs Team to strategically plan engagement activities for SCAQ candidates  

Establish and maintain valued relationships with current ATOs  

Build ISCA brand and promote ISCA’s qualifications  

Conduct regular information sessions to different levels of stakeholders (from fresh graduates to management staff)  

Tracking/ Reports and Others  
  

Produce specific weekly management information in particular progress on engagement targets, conversions and projects given by Senior Management 

Support Senior Management on other administrative and adhoc matters  

Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs  


Job Requirements

Preferably Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field.  

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in community engagement, business development or marketing. 

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in  engagement/ events are welcome to apply 

Excellent verbal & written communication skills.  

Inter-personal savvy and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.   

Ability to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals.  

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and in a team.  

Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.  

Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.
