Job description

HANDEP is a social enterprise that works closely with indigenous communities, especially artisans in rural Kalimantan. We’re looking for a Community & Production Officer who’s organized, committed, and ready to work on the ground with our artisan partners to support sustainable production and community empowerment.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee monthly production plans, including raw material procurement, artisan orders, product delivery, and reporting

Supervise quality control and ensure production standards are met at the artisan and tailor levels

Monitor stock and update inventory reports regularly

Create monthly production progress reports from each village

Manage operational systems and admin processes at the artisan level

Support and monitor HANDEP’s artisan savings program

Handle incoming calls, document typing, letter administration (offline and online)

Organize and maintain office documentation and data

Conduct field visits to artisan villages at least once every 2 months

Requirements

Minimum age 20 years

Minimum education: D3 or S1 in administration, community development, or related fields

Able to work flexibly in Palangka Raya and villages

Based in or willing to relocate to Palangka Raya or nearby

Has access to personal transportation for mobility

Able to work independently in a dynamic environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
