Job Requirement

Prepare milling machines for operation by installing and adjusting cutting tools, securing workpieces, and configuring machine settings based on job specifications and blueprints.

Operate milling machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and shaping parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications.

Select and install appropriate cutting tools and ensure they are properly maintained and replaced when worn.

Conduct inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure they meet specifications.

 Follow quality control procedures to ensure all parts produced meet or exceed quality standards. Record and report any deviations from quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on milling machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to keep them in good working condition.

Identify and troubleshoot minor issues with machines and tools. Report major issues to maintenance personnel for resolution.

Maintain accurate records of machine setups, tool changes, production runs, and inspections.

Job requirement

Min. ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Engineering related courses or any equivalent.

Relevant experience in conventional milling operations, typically 1 - 3 years.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated to work independently with team support & minima guidance.

Preferably specializing in Manufacturing/Production operation management or equivalent.

Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all time.

Comfortable to work at West area, Joo Koon.
