KITCHEN FOOD CHECKER / EXPEDITOR (PASS)
Are you sharp, fast, and uncompromising on food standards? This role is the final gatekeeper before food reaches the guest,consistency, speed, and quality depend on you.
Location: Kung Pao Panda
Give clear, firm, and loud instructions to the kitchen team during service. Has authority to:
Call for refires
Push slow sections
Stop service if quality is not acceptable
Can raise voice when necessary to maintain speed, standard, and discipline (professionally, not emotionally). Act as the main communication bridge between:
Kitchen
Floor / service team
5. Speed & Service Control
Monitor ticket times and ensure service is within target time. Identify bottlenecks and fix them immediately. Prioritize orders properly (VIP, large tables, delayed tables, etc.).
6. Cleanliness & Organization at the Pass
Keep pass area clean, organized, and efficient. Ensure plates are clean, wiped, and ready before sending out. Ensure garnish, sauce, and final touches are complete.

Excellent communication and command voice
Able to work under pressure and during very busy service
Very good at reading and understanding order tickets
Strong understanding of kitchen flow and timing

Respected by kitchen team and not afraid to be firm
Experience & Background
Minimum 2–3 years experience in a busy restaurant kitchen (hot kitchen / service kitchen). Previous experience as:
Senior CDP
Sous Chef
Kitchen Supervisor
Or strong line cook with leadership skill
Strong understanding of:
Plating standards
Kitchen operations
Service flow
Only strong candidates with service-kitchen experience will be considered.
