Job description for Career Services Executive at Nanyang Institute of Management
This role is responsible for delivering a holistic approach to student development and career outcomes. It encompasses industry attachment (IA), employability initiatives, student leadership development, industry engagement, and alumni relations within the Career Service Centre. The role also supports the continuous improvement of Career Service Centre initiatives.
Responsibilities
Industry Attachment (IA) Management
● Source, placement and management of IA opportunities for students
● Build and maintain employer partnerships
● Monitor IA quality, student performance, and employer feedback
● Ensure IA processes align with academic and regulatory requirements
Career Development & Employability
● Design and deliver career readiness initiatives such as workshops, interview prep, soft skills
● Guide students on career pathways beyond graduation
● Track and improve graduate employment outcomes
● Provide career advisory support where needed
Student Development
● Oversee and support student-led initiatives such as:
○ Student council
○ Clubs and societies
○ Leadership activities
● Encourage participation in activities that contribute to holistic development and employability
Alumni Relations
● Maintain and grow alumni network
● Track alumni outcomes and career progression
Others
● Any other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements
● A recognized Diploma in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industry attachment management, industry partnerships, career services, or student affairs.
● Immediate availability or short notice will have an advantage
● Salary range: SGD 2500-3500
