We are looking for a skilled Butcher and Cutter to join our kitchen team. This role involves cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing various types of meat, poultry, and fish, as well as assisting in general kitchen prep tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong knife skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, and portion meats (beef, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, etc.) according to specifications

Debone and skin meat and poultry as required

Grind meat and prepare minced products

Maintain clean and sanitized cutting tools and work areas

Ensure proper storage of meats in refrigerators/freezers

Assist with vegetable cutting or general prep work as needed

Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report shortages

Label and date all prepared products for proper rotation (FIFO)

Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines strictly

Requirements:

Proven experience as a butcher, general cutter, meat cutter, or similar role

Knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques

Excellent knife handling and cutting skills

Ability to work in cold environments (e.g., walk-in freezers)

Physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy meat portions

Familiarity with HACCP or food safety procedures
