Job description for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (FMCG) at Associate & United Distributors Pte Ltd
About the Role
We are a distribution and retail company specializing in FMCG products, with a strong focus on chocolate and confectionery items. We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and highly motivated sales professional to join our Sales team and drive market expansion. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and building strong client partnerships across the FMCG, retail, and HORECA sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Business Development
Drive new business acquisition and expand existing accounts within FMCG & HORECA channels
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth
Identify new distribution opportunities across supermarkets, convenience stores, F&B outlets, and distributors
Key Account & Client Management
Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with key accounts and clients
Conduct regular client engagements to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth
Manage end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pipeline management to closing and after-sales support
Sales Performance & Reporting
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
Monitor sales pipeline, track performance, and provide data-driven sales reports and forecasts
Recommend actionable strategies to improve sales performance and account growth
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
Identify growth opportunities and contribute to high-impact sales strategies
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on go-to-market plans
Promotions & Product Launches
Support and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional events
Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
Sales Operations & Administration
Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and sales documentation
Ensure accurate and timely updates in ERP systems and proper documentation of all sales activities
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of FMCG / HORECA / B2B sales experience
Proven track record in sales targets achievement & account management
Familiarity with retail chains, supermarkets, F&B outlets, hotels, and distribution networks
Experience in export sales / regional markets is an advantage

Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Mobility: Possess own vehicle and valid driving license (preferred).
