Role Objectives:
Discovery Mall Bali is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Officer to support the daily operational management of the mall. This role plays a key part in ensuring all facilities, utilities, and activities—especially those occurring after operating hours—run safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure all building facilities and utilities are functioning properly.
· Supervise and monitor all activities or work conducted after mall operating hours to ensure compliance with established procedures.
· Conduct routine inspections to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall condition of the mall, including public areas, restrooms, and service corridors.
· Coordinate with related departments such as Engineering for any detected damage, hazards, or technical issues that require immediate attention.
· Liaise with other departments including Housekeeping, Security, and Tenant Relations to ensure smooth mall operations.
· Provide suggestions and feedback to superiors regarding improvements in work control systems or mall operations.
· Record and report any work or activity conducted after operating hours accurately and promptly.
· Ensure all after-hours activities do not pose a risk or cause potential loss to the company.
· Protect company assets from risks of damage, theft, or loss.
· Follow up promptly on any issues found during inspections to ensure they are resolved effectively.
· Stop activities that violate established procedures or pose safety concerns.
· Request support from Security to investigate any incidents or defects that occur during after-hours activities.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
· Minimum diploma degree (D3) in any major is required; educational background in engineering, facility management, or related fields is a plus.
· At least 1 year of experience in a similar operational or facility-based role.
· Good knowledge of building systems, utilities, and general facility operations.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act decisively in critical situations.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal departments and external parties.
· Disciplined, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and company regulations.
· Able to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
· Willing to be located in Bali.
