We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. You'll be the face of our cafe, a front-line staff member responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for all our customers. The most important qualities we are looking for are a genuine love for coffee and chocolate, a desire to learn, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

Beverage & Food Preparation: Expertly prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks, including specialty coffee, tea, and smoothies. You'll also take food orders and assist with light food preparation, such as assembling pre-made meals, toasts, and salads.

Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a smile. Take orders accurately, process payments with our POS system, and provide friendly, fast, and knowledgeable service.

Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our menu, from our unique coffee beans and specialty chocolates to our health-focused food options. You'll be confident and able to educate customers on our products and make personalized recommendations.

Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, counters, and dining area. Regularly restock all supplies, from condiments to retail displays.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the rest of our team to ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience during both busy and slow periods.

Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista in a high-volume cafe or restaurant is required. Experience with light food preparation is a plus. Experience in catering or events would also be a great benefit.

Skills: Proficiency in all aspects of coffee preparation, including espresso, milk steaming, and basic latte art. You should be able to follow recipes precisely and work efficiently under pressure.

Enthusiasm: A passion for coffee and chocolate is a must. We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to learn and share their knowledge with others.

Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a friendly and approachable demeanor and be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a smile.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for order entry and payments.

Language: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and capable of conversational English.

Personal Attributes: We want a strong team player who is reliable, punctual, and maintains a professional appearance.
