About the role

Join Shape Haus' talented team as a Balinese Drafter. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in the design processes, contributing your expertise in drafting to create culturally-inspired projects. Based in Nusa Lembongan, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local landscape and heritage while delivering high-quality work for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Producing detailed architectural drawings and plans adhering to Balinese design principles and local regulations

Collaborating closely with architects, designers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical plans

Ensuring all drawings and documentation meet relevant standards and codes

Contributing your knowledge and insights to the design process to help shape innovative, culturally-authentic projects

Providing support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to on-site implementation

What we're looking for

Strong technical drafting skills using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD

Excellent understanding of Balinese architectural styles, materials and construction methods

Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into detailed, accurate plans

Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Passion for preserving and celebrating Balinese cultural heritage through design

Relevant qualifications in architecture, design or a related field
