Job Role:

The Assistant to Director (Chinese Speaker) is a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable role responsible for supporting the Director in daily business operations, project coordination, and strategic execution. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a fast learner, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced international fintech environment.  You will act as a vital bridge between the Director’s global vision and local operational execution, ensuring that strategic technical upgrades are implemented efficiently across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support: Manage the Director's schedule, coordinate high-priority meetings, and handle international travel arrangements.

Communication & Documentation: Act as the primary translator and interpreter (Mandarin/English/Indonesian) for meetings, board presentations, and technical documents.

Operational & Project Coordination: Monitor daily business operations and track project milestones between local teams and regional stakeholders in Singapore and China.

Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate smooth communication between the CEO and the Head of Operations/Sales to ensure SME and merchant acquisition targets are aligned with the technology upgrade.

Strategic Execution: Support the CEO in monitoring the OJK licensing process and the integration of PAX technology into the local business model. 

Candidate Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree from relevant fields, graduates from reputable international universities are preferred.

Experience

 1-3 years of experience as an Chinese-speaking Executive Assistant or Business Assistant. 

Technical & Digital Savvy

Payment Ecosystem Knowledge: High interest or background in Fintech, payment gateways, or electronic payment hardware like Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

Data-Driven Reporting: Proficiency in using advanced Excel or data visualization tools to compile sales pipeline and operational performance reports for management review.

Digital Workflow Management: Expertise in using project management and communication tools (e.g., Slack, DingTalk, Trello, or Jira) to track strategic execution across multinational teams.

Professional & Personal Skills

Strong multitasking abilities, high responsibility, and the ability to work independently with strong execution.

Language Skills

Mandarin: Fluent (verbal and written) for daily coordination with the Director and Chinese stakeholders.  

English: Fluent for regional reporting and communication with Singapore.
