Job Description
- The candidate will build, maintain and manage the reputation and image of AIC through the execution of earned coverage in all forms of media and communication channels.
- Provide full-fledged PR support for the assigned portfolios, including (but not limited to) sourcing for leads, message development, writing press releases and speeches, as well as media pitching and outreach across all forms of earned media and communication channels
- Manage media queries, and support in the handling of issues / crises
- Work with peers from other teams in the Department to ensure holistic integrated communications support for assigned Division(s)
Job Requirements
- Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism or related disciplines with at least 4 years of experience handling public relations, media relations and/or corporate communications
- Possess good communication and people management skills, is results-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful and meticulous
- Familiar with both mainstream and digital media landscape, and good network of media contacts preferred
- The ability to read and write fluently in a local vernacular will be an added advantage
- Able to multi-task and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing change and ambiguity.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
The successful candidate will be offered a 2-year employment contract.
