Job description for Accounts Executive at L & Z PTE LTD
Responsibilities
Manage full sets of accounts in compliance with financial accounting standards to ensure accurate financial records
Issue invoices, perform inter-company billing, and maintain bookkeeping for timely transaction recording
Prepare monthly petty cash reports, monitor property tax payable, and maintain fixed assets listings for financial accuracy
Assist the Senior Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reports to support decision-making
Liaise with bankers, staff, and management on finance-related matters to facilitate smooth financial operations
Prepare and submit GST reports in accordance with regulatory requirements
Submit government surveys accurately and on time to comply with statutory obligations
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets to support financial planning
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure compliance and smooth audits
Perform administrative tasks to support the finance department's efficiency
Execute other ad hoc duties assigned by management to meet organizational needs
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Proficient in MS Office applications to efficiently manage financial data and reporting
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of QuickBooks or Reckon Accounting Software to enhance accounting processes
Experience in the trading industry and familiarity with trade facilities such as Letters of Credit and Invoice Financing to support specialized financial transactions
