Job description for Accounts Assistant at Legion Express Pte Ltd
Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance department with daily administrative and clerical tasks. You will manage data entry, process invoices, and help maintain accurate financial records to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions, invoices, and receipts into the accounting system.
Accounts Payable (AP): Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and prepare payment vouchers.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Match incoming payments to customer invoices and follow up on outstanding debts.
Documentation: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial records and receipts.
Statement Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts.
Admin Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, such as handling mail and scheduling.
Requirements
Education: O-Level, LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in an office administrative or basic accounting environment.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus.
Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
