To be the first point of contact for both customer and factory on commercial-related issues. Account Manager to drive the commercial team to answer to quote requests and resolve Purchase Order (PO) related issues.
- To take charge of request for quotation (RFQ) from customer to ensure customer satisfaction both internal and external
- Trigger RFQ process once request from customer is received. Share customer BOM and drawing package to costing team. Upon completion of budget, prepare the quote based on agreed cost model.
- To ensure Purchase Order (PO) accuracy and launching it to factory per customer need dates
- To have margin management in place to ensure project with no margin loss issue.
- To ensure deliveries are schedule in accordance to customer need dates for good on time delivery (OTD) performance
- To manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) return to ensure there are no outstanding commercial issue.
- Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
- Degree in Engineering/Business or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role in account management in the manufacturing industry.
- Understand multi-level BOM and can execute BOM comparison.
- 8D problem-solving technique
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
- Good communication skills
