1. Trade qualifications as a fitter, diesel mechanic or hydraulic mechanic or maintenance engineering experience (mechanical/electrical), Previous experience in Milling, CNC, Bubut, Spindel is a must.

3. Previous experience working in a similar role within the Quarry, Mining, Service or Construction Industry.

Workshop Manager is responsible for:
1. Planning and organising daily tasks and duties
2. Inspecting and monitoring all aspects of our Inhouse and off-Site team
3. Coaching and mentoring the team to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and on time.
4. First point of contact for all our key account customers
5. Quoting and pricing of products and services
6. Hands on approach, with sound team building skills
7. A trade background as CNC, Milling, bubut
8. Previous experience in managing and motivating a team
9. A willingness to go the extra mile and a positive can-do attitude
You will be a hands-on and fully experienced Workshop Manager - with a background in earthmoving and heavy machinery. Day to days will include, but not limited to: -
1. Manage the workshop maintenance to meet operational requirements, through meeting of priority demands.
2. Identify and manage resource levels to meet timelines against planned activities.
3. Develop strong relationships with operations to enable effective communication with key stakeholders to minimise impact on operations in the event of unplanned events.
4. Understand equipment performance, capability, and costs.
5. Identify training and development opportunities within the team and champion upskilling of workforce.
6. Ensure knowledge of fleet performance including all breakdowns and maintenance activities, prioritise activities to minimise business impact.
7. Provide and facilitate technical advice on plant related matters.
8. Conduct work in a manner that is safe and consistent with Ausdecom policies and procedures.
