Job description for Workshop & IT Technical Assistant at PT BINTANG SUBSEA INDONESIA
Summary
The Workshop & IT Technical Assistant is responsible for assisting and giving support of the team of operations, providing sufficient equipment and tools in timely manner, and updating asset management system.
Responsibilities
1) To maintain housekeeping of the workshop.
2) Implementation of technical workshop QA, work instructions and maintenance of service records.
3) Carry out routine preventive maintenance as required.
4) Maintain fault repair records for all breakdown maintenance.
5) Provide technical and operational support to the operations department.
6) To assist mobilisation/demobilisation preparation in the workshop and onto vessels as required.
7) To check and test for all outgoing and incoming equipment’s.
8) Provide a consistent and controlled method to assist, analyse and troubleshoot any problems/issues of equipment.
9) To undertake testing maintenance and repair of all types of survey equipment.
10) Continually seek the identification of new working methods and/or technology to improve performance.
11) Ensure sufficient tools and consumables are stocked.
Requirements
1) Knowledge of offshore survey or similar industry is preferable
2) Minimum of 1 year experience in technical & workshop position.
3) Degree in Engineering Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Information Technology or relevant
4) Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
5) Having knowledge in inventory system will be advantage
