Job description for WELDING INSPECTOR at SERAYU TEKNOLOGI INDONESIA
Qualifications:
1. Active CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) certification required
2. Minimum 3–5 years experience as QC Inspector in Piping and Welding in Construction, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fabrication Yard industries
3. Minimum D3/S1 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Naval Engineering, or related field
4. Proficient in reading Isometric Drawing and P&ID
5. Understanding of international industry standards (ASME Sec. VIII, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1)
Key Responsibilities :
1. Conduct visual, fit-up, and dimensional inspections on pipe materials, fittings, and structural components according to project specifications
2. Perform direct supervision of welding in-process inspection and visual welding inspection
3. Coordinate with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) teams for testing execution (RT, UT, PT, MT) according to Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and evaluate test reports.
